Integrated project management services

UNIMAR has accumulated extensive in-house expertise in managing key elements of ship repairs and maintenance dockings. We get involved with you at the outset; the critical planning stages, working with you to identify scope of work, possible locations to undertake work, sourcing and appraising of sub-contractors and putting together worklists, budgets and tenders.

In electing UNIMAR, a dedicated project manager will work closely with you to formulate a timeline, establish inbuilt cost control and commercial management systems and ensure contract supply lines are in place for lead items and personnel. The project manager will co-ordinate all aspects of docking and maintenance repairs, painting et al under an agreed contract with defined terms and conditions. The project manager will act as your representative in all commercial and financial matters giving you a single point of contact for the works and billing.

The essential philosophy of UNIMAR is to allow you to maintain full control of your project in both engineering and financial areas without having to get your hands dirty. The final account is handled by us and we negotiate any variations or warranties on your behalf.
