Servicing the maritime markets since 1925

UNIMAR has grown out of one of New Zealand’s most experienced and longest serving marine engineering and maritime services groups. It was, until very recently known as N&B Group. The company and other subsidiaries have been operating from Port Nelson since 1925, predominantly in ship repairs and maintaining Nelson’s deep sea fishing fleet. Nelson is regarded as Australasia’s largest fishing port.

During 2005, after undertaking a comprehensive review of our business and future objectives, we completed a major restructure of the group’s activities. UNIMAR was established to operate and develop existing and new business opportunities in the offshore oil, gas and coastal mineral sector.

We are excited about the future of the maritime industry in our island nation and look forward to continuing our contribution in whatever area it may be required. We hope we can be of service to you, our clients, and look forward to developing existing and new relationships.
